Uniting their diverse backgrounds and expertise, the founders of the Development Innovations Group created a company that offers cutting-edge solutions in commercial financing and the delivery of basic services for the urban poor. DIG was established in February 2005 by Franck Daphnis, Delila Khaled, Ruby AlSalem, and Dr. Mayada Baydas. Originally from developing countries, the four founders worked together for many years prior to establishing DIG. The partners bring a robust set of skills across a broad range of technical areas including: housing finance; microfinance; urban management and local government capacity building; community development; infrastructure improvement and basic service delivery; municipal finance; and employment generation. DIG embraces the founders' common passion for development: achieving poverty reduction through innovative, commercially-viable, and replicable solutions.
